Travelling treats

Yumminess, starting top centre: good old plain chips; spicy bhuja mix, halva bar, dried strawberries, cashew/rice wafer cookies, tamarind sweets (salty, sweet, sour AND spicy!), fried eggplant, coconut-cream-coated peanuts.
Mack and I are heading off to the Christchurch Vegetarian Expo this weekend, and the Wellington Vegetarian Festival the following weekend, so I've stocked up on treats.
I was talking to the lovely ladies at our local library the other day about road trips, and they were talking about how stopping for junk food is an integral part of the journey's pleasure... well, as vegans we take our own junk food! And I have to say, our supplies look pretty delicious.
The fried eggplant will go into fresh baguette, since every supermarket in every town has baguette. Yum!

  1. Ooo, I love going to Christchurch...they have great vegan food (you'd think I only go down there for the food sometimes)!
